Recently retired, I find I have time now for those things I have had to put off for years. 

 

Back in high school, I first learned to sew and I loved it.  Now that I have eight grandchildren and lots of free time, I am able to improve my sewing skills while making sweet things for the kids. The teacher in me compels me to write about what I create. 

 

The blog title, "Mousewing and Robin," is meant to be reminiscent of childhood and fairytales.
